Our 2008 fishing season has come to a end, and I'd like to thank everyone that came out fishing with us this year and hope to see you again next year. This year was a bit challenging, compared to the last three years of record breaking catches. The cold 42-46 degree water temperatures kept the fish in hibernation mode thru the third week of July and with the huge schools of bait fish it was tough to tempt them to bite with any consistancy. We then had a total lake turn over which raised the water temperature to the mid to upper 60's in a 4 day period, thus confusing the fish as well as the fishermen. We did have alot of fun out on the water, some of the highlights was again making a TV show with Hunt Fish TV, catching a honeymooning couple there limit of fish, catching a monster brown trout the night before the fishing derby, along with seeing alot of smiling, sometimes tired out faces after reeling in there first big salmon or trout. It's hunting season for me now, so have a great winter and see ya next year.
