Thread: Back in WI or is it the U.P.?

The duck season closed just in time for Christmas, so Merry Christmas and Best Fishes in the New Year! But now there is still some ice fishing to do. I just helped one of Two Rivers newest charter captain's dust off his ice fishing gear up on Bay De Noc in Upper Michigan. Lucky for me he's guiding up there this year. We were setting up to find some trophy walleye and did pull out one nice 25" fish with a couple other smaller ones but things shouldn't get into full swing there untill the second week of January. If he gets real busy I may have to go on ice hole drilling duty. So really, so far there hasn't been a off season just a change of seasons from fishing to hunting. I'll have to head back to Iowa for the snowgoose hunting and then were back for the walleye run and for the 2008 fishing season out on Lake Michigan. Hope to see You out on the water.
