Thread: Trouble Some Trout

A hot week and we thought the lake would warm and finally get into a summer pattern but it did not happen with shifting winds churning the water. We had rainbow action but only boated 20 percent of the fish on. Fish were hitting at all levels with the water being cool from top to bottom. We worked all colors of spoons and covered a lot of area searching for the next bite. Big patches of weeds and more lake trout moving in. The pier action is still going, but most action is between 1-4 a.m.
