Thread: A big fish a couple of days late

Big waves and shifting water temps still have us in search mode, but we are finding some fish. This 17.5 lb laker would have walked away with first place in the TR derby this past weekend but we were a couple of days past. A fun day and Gary's grandson pulled in one in his size range. We are running all spoons and one cut bait rig. The laker took the bait 120 feet down on 240 feet of water. A couple of bows off the surface on blue. Some stable weather is needed, and we should see some improving action with the alewife moving out.
