I switched batteries, tried to get the voice control to work but my voice is just raspy enough it would not work. We ran into the same problem while making the "Green Shiner" article. The writer's voice is very clear and he could talk to my camera and it worked fantastic. I'm ordering batteries today. We'll see if I can get it to work after they come in.
I hate the gopro, at least back in the day when I first got into it (and out). Yep, my batteries would always die. It would turn itself on and off randomly. The buttons were goofy, never knew if it was on or off. Just was not user friendly or reliable. So I gave mine away and never looked back. I use my phone. Good enough.

I've learned to be real careful with my fishing posts. Still I do get to spend quite a bit of time sticking steel to Crappie as well as saltwater fish. The purpose of the gopro was to get some footage to support the latest article in Crappie Now. I'm catching fish so shallow (not in shallow water though) and my presentation gets them to rise and commit. Some supporting video would help numerous others especially new to Crappie fishing IMO. I will try again but thank you for backing me up that GoPro cameras can be a pain.

Well I could not stand it. After Slab's post I went to GoPro's website to learn a bit more and found a update to my camera also better batteries. So when I tried the update using the micro SD card that was already installed it would not work. I tried another from the same batch (cheap ones from Amazon) and it didn't work either. Well I had a new ultra high speed card still in the pack so I cut it out and used it for the update. Well don't you know my camera updated, the voice is working now, and it will use the longer life HERO 8 batteries now. So I pulled the trigger on a new external charger, 4 new HERO 8 Batteries, and 6 more camera mounts. We will see if I can get some footage to support the article DON'T SPOOK YOUR CRAPPIE in the latest CrappieNow Magazine.

"That's how they get ya". Nickel and dime ya to death! lol Just kidding, they got good stuff but I soured early and am not turning back. I'm eyeballing this Insta360 thing. Looks amazing, it's got weird AI auto editing features. Might even be able to catch fish itself, dono!

If you saw the stuff in my shop you would think I have "SUCKER" tattooed to my forehead. I fall for gimmicks and believe what people say.

If I can provide content media support to any article a editor considered good enough to print I'm in. I'm watching GoPro training videos now and since I have a YouTube premium account I'm downloading the good ones for continuing education (watching over and over repetition to drill it in)

Default Not Bait & Switch, I need a New Roof along with other things......

This is my Camper. It was stored in a insulated building during the summer heatwave on Ross Barnett.

I went up on the roof as I spotted the coax cable seal 1/2 way up the wire. I didn't want water to leak in so grabbed the ladder and up on the roof I went. I was wearing sandals and after getting back on the ladder I noticed scaring in the roof membrane.

The heat broke down the EPDM roofing membrane to its non-vulcanized state on the surface 1/2 of the material. My sandals dragging across the membrane did all this scaring. When I pushed on the membrane with my finger it stuck to it releasing from the roof. If you have a camper in central Mississippi and have a EPDM roof you may want to check is now. This is a 2012 model year.

Here is a quick picture of the inside rear area, the slide is in on the left side but you can see its roomy. I am rebuilding the Refrigerator, completely upgrading the A/C system, replacing the Microwave, Hot Water Heater, and now the Roof Membrane.

Yes, no fishing around here right now due to weather so all the different tasks are hitting with great timing. I have to return the camper before April Fools Day, that is when I start back fishing The Rez, Ross Barnett.

You have to replace the roof now too, wow. No other way to repair it?
