The cooling system certainly didn't need flushing with all the coolant that has been lost since getting this car on the road. This is one job I'm glad to have behind me. Everything is so close and I'm a big guy with monster hands, they don't fit at all in the tight places I have to work in on that car.Tomorrow is Shock replacement on my Tow Truck. When returning from Ross Barnett with our camper the truck body did a bit of bouncing. 244K miles of that 2001 2500HD's original shocks. I would say it's past due.

This is what I say, always get a car with the smaller engine option. Cause if you get the largest engine size, they "packed" it in there. Wifey's BMW Z3 was originally designed for a 4 cyl engine. They jammed a six in it (wifey got the six), and I did a clutch replacement on it. Talk about zero clearance Clarence!

Nothing better than some of the front wheel drives that you had to take the motor mounts loose and jack up the engine to change the plugs. Good times for sure

Not too many guys hang around here because they get put to work. I have a few I can call if I need a hand but most tasks I can tackle myself. P-Nut helped me pull my last Refrigerator the my motorhome. He came by yesterday to pick up a bag of Tamales. I need to pull the Refrigerator in my Camper real soon, he liked the Tamales so much I think I could just wave a bag outside and He would show up.

This is a 6 cylinder so very tight. I had a couple of PT Cruisers, one was a Turbo. I had to do the Timing Belt on it and when you buy the kit it comes with a Water Pump. They assume while you're there and all the trouble you went thru to get there, replace the Water Pump.

Iffn I was closer….i work a lot with a fella in his 80 around here on hydraulics and his dozers and such. He is an old farmer with a ton of knowledge.
