Default Came in the mail today

I was gifted these from a member who stripped a couple broken rods,(I'm guessing they were broken), as well as a bunch of tackle I wasn't expecting. Thank you John. Now I have pieces to practice with, and use when needed. Thank you.

Yes sir, I had been looking at them for a bit. Tag said they came off of a Lews speed shooter rod. I'm guessing a 6'-6.5 footer. Which will work out great as I was looking at building one just that size. Strange how the Lord puts things where they need to be...

We sure have some good and generous members here. CDC members are the best. Personally I’m not a fan of those airwaves guides myself. I prefer the normal ones over those.

I have some on my ACC Crappiesticks. They work pretty well for the small braid I use. I was skeptical at first. You certainly got lots of goodies in the mail. Hope ya enjoy them

Not sure of the brand as there are two with this design, but, the bass professor developed it way back in the day. Like the Fuji Concept guides, they are supposed to get the line going through the remainder of the guides more smoothly, eleminating a lot of the line slap on the rod, allowing for a longer cast with a comparable amount of force. Don't know, but would like to do a comparison for my self....

Christmas in June! Good bunch of stuff for sure. The airwave guides that I have on my TSS cast wonderfully. Lots of mixed emotions on those. I have lots of extra guides and if you have needs to finish something out, let me know before you shop. When you first start wrapping, most folks have a tendency to hold too much tension on the thread. If you push the guide when you’re trying to start up on the foot, that’s too much tension. I’m guilty of that some. Holler if I can help.

Thank you Tim. C.C members are the greatest. I will keep the tension bit in mind. I have some small dowels around in the shed I plan on practicing on when I get that far. I want to sand, seal and paint the jig first. Hoping to get that done over the week-end.
