i put a tub of canadian nightcrawlers overnight in my freezer and forgot when and opened and its hard solid im curious if they are dead no or if they will be fine once they thaw out?

Only The Thing from that Kurt Russell movie can survive being frozen.
No they cannot, unless they all bunched together and a few didn't freeze.. that's your only hope. If they look deflated, toss them! I wouldn't even thaw them out, that's going to be a stinky mess.

If they froze, place them in a very warm place- like the trunk of your car, and give them 7-10 days to thaw.

frozen is the condition when heat no longer exist . To solidify in a frozen state . lol will stink to high heaven when heated . lol
On a side note,
crawlers can be kept in ice water in the fridge overnight without killing them. It’s a quick way to force feed them moisture to plump them up in a hurry!
They get much bigger, try it sometime!
