    Default Something curious happened?

So I’m painting up some 1/16 pony heads (road runner) for my white bass trip tomorrow. I painted up some in yellow chartreuse, silver and blaze orange. All solid color, no two tone or anything fancy. Well I went and baked them on 350 degrees for 20 minutes. My Blaze Orange turned more of a reddish pumpkin orange!! They were definitely Blaze Orange prior to baking.

Soo what happened? Any ideas? Never had this happen before.

    Nate.
They will turn orange again after a while. You can use a white base coat to prevent it.

Some colors will turn darker when the lead is warm from bakin but will return to the original brightness when completely cool. As stated above, a white basecoat should help.

Yeah, no I get the whole hot lead the color will look different. This is after they have cooled. Minnow head isn’t baked while the pony is. And it’s the same paint. I mean I highly doubt the sand bass will care. lol.
