Default I need help with CHENILLE for tiny bluegill jigs

I am really new to tying, and I have found a lot of chenilles that I like for crappie. All the ones that I have ordered are small enough, but don't have much material on them, and they have brand name stuff. I am trying to do 1/32 oz. and smaller. I would appreciate it if y'all could give me some reccomendations.

    thanks!

Most chenille is probably size medium or size 2. You might try looking for smaller size 0 chenille for tiny jigs.

I knew there was ultra size chenille. Question though…. Is ultra the same as size 0? I’m not sure.

Tying jigs for gills would be a good time to learn about using dubbin. With dubbin you will have an endless list of materials to use and you will be able to make your jigs look more life like and 'buggy' looking using a dubbin brush.

I use medium chenille for 1/32 jigs and ultra chenille or size 0 chenille for anything smaller. It works well for me.

Yes that type chenille works very well on small jigs and it is made in larger sizes for bigger size jigs.
