Truly amazing and impressive works of art! So much color and depth and action going on. Very very nice
I've been working on some new colors using Pearl Ex powdered pigments hoping to get more paint movement during the baking process and painted some without crinkle because with crinkle the head colors are darker and I wanted some lighter brighter color heads. I'm mixing these colors using clear powder with these pigments plus micro glitter. Here is some I painted this weekend. First two with crinkle and the last two without. These are 1/4 oz. jigs.

I'm mixing my pigments in two oz. jars filling them 2/3-3/4 full of clear then adding .004 mm glitter then pigments and shake. I'm wanting these to look fluffy texture compared to regular powder paint so I keep adding pigment until it starts to fluff when stirred. Then it's ready for some heads. I think you can mix about 5-6 oz. of paint with just one .5 oz. jar of these pigments, maybe even more as will as mix different pigment colors for custom color blends. The color possibilities with these pigments are unlimited.

After seeing the price of that stuff and now starting to realize how much work you put into them you need to sell them in the big cities in the ritzy neighborhoods for about $25 each!
Add a calico scale looking colored soft bait and sell em for 3/$100.
Truly life like and amazing patience to work with so many colors on one jig head!
Can't wait to see the video of your painstaking meticulous process........ hint hint

Yes video if willing to share would be good. These jigs really are amazing. Thanks
I'm still painting heads just like the videos I did on you tube with crinkle powder paint but now I spend more time with the file getting heads nice and smooth and using the pigments instead of Pro-Tec powder paint. To actually paint a 1/8 oz. jig takes me about 15 seconds. Once head cools I clean paint from eyes and bake at 350.

So you mix all the colors you want into one jar of clear paint and do one single dip? If that's the case that's insanely easy! I thought you had to sprinkle it on to get the separation of colors.
Is it pro tec clear or another one?
Nvm, looked at your other post and I see you sprinkle the colors one. How you do that in 15 seconds and get the heads to look that excellent is amazing!
Quality as usual Jim.
