Getting ready to paint some jigs with nail polish this weekend.
Do you guys prep the lead before painting or just start slathering on the polish?
Will brushstrokes even out on their own or do you have to smooth out the polish yourself?
Searched but didn't see this info.
Thanks

I wipe mine with acetone, and paint, if they need it, I will add a second coat, then seal with Sally Hansen - Hard as nails clear. Just as good as powder paint or better!!

To get a good even cover make sure your jig is smooth and clean. I use a fine file or an emery board. Fp will level it's self. Sally Hansen top coats does not mix with some enamel fp. Minimum 2 coats. Will use up to 4 coats, of clear, to keep 3D eyes on.

The biggest problem I,m having is finding a color that looks like chartreuse. Any ideas.
Thanks for the info!
