First time I have tried pouring and painting jigs over the weekend. Any advice is much appreciated as I have a lot to learn. Crane swivels are a pain in the a$$... Some 1/8 oz pill heads with 1/0 Mustad Sickle and VMC hooks and 2/0 Eagle Claw hooks.
Do you pour any other sizes

I’ll give you one piece of advice, and this is just my opinion. Don’t paint over the barb on back of jig head. Makes it harder to keep plastic on. I know they look better to the eye but when you have a plastic on crappie can’t see it anyway. Just my. But you did an amazing job with that mold for a first timer. Most struggle with it.
Thanks for the advice. I just like the way they look painted whole. I did do a few with the barbs exposed and the bard is definetly more pronouced unpainted and will for sure hold a plastic better. Yes that is the only mold I have for now. Plan on adding a 3/16 and or 1/4 sometime more than likely.
How did you protect the hook eye and hook shank?
If I dont ask its my fault for not knowing
Those look awesome, especially for your first time. Great job!
Just being extremely careful dipping in paint. Hold the eye with pliers. Cleaned up what was left on the hook. Its a pain...
