Default Do it wire bait keeper

I have never used a jig head with a wire plastic bait keeper . All I have ever used is the molded spear type
The question is does the wire type hold plastic as well as the molded lead spears. ?

I love my wire bait keeper molds. Have modified several to wire keeper. Pain in the butt to get the wires in the but to me it is worth it.

After you put a plastic on a jig head with a wire keeper, you can pull on the tail, and the tail will break off before the plastic pulls off the keeper.

Wire keepers are really good but I use the coil type and love them.

Grumpy, how do you twist the body onto the keeper or do you push the plastic jig onto the keeper.

    Thanks

It twists on, The bigger ones are a lil pain to get on but they stay really well.

I used some of the twist on ones and had to change the bait when it was no longer Blue on top, but had turned white from being chewed on so much. No 'gill on the planet could pull them down.
