Default Playing with Harbor Freight powder paint

Playing around with HF powder paint. 2 color mixes today, might play around with 3 color mixes tomorrow. Think any of these will work?

They all look good. Love to play around mixing colors. Will surprise you at times of the color once heated. Nice work

I'm fairly new to powder painting jigs, using a heat gun and dipping in pp right now. Is there any thing that can be used to thin the pp I have? The HF pp is a lot thicker than the pro tec.

You could try some clear with the color to thin it out a bit.

You are correct it is a bit thicker powder and as ctom said use clear to help it flow better but watch out for how much you put in you don't want to make it a transparent (or maybe you do) - Check out the paint sticky about color mixs.

When you buy clear go to Rosys and buy the 200% glass clear powder - you might think it's alot now but you WILL go through clear really fast mixing colors or using glitter.

Post a copy of your chart in the paint mix section for any new folks starting out.

    Thanks Guys!

Fatman, I'm not much on these iPhones, don't know how to put in the custom mix section. My daughter had to put the picture on here for me.
