pink ...chart and sparkle are my favorites ...
I use cheap dollar store nail polish
I figure why bother with anything that's gunna last
kuz once I start droppin em the wont be around long anyway

Don't mind using it but have to cover it with epoxy.
I use as many jigs un-painted as I do painted. I let the plastic do the coaxing.

if you haven't tried it before....try just painting a black eye and then a thin red "gill" line.If you remember some factory lures have used this technique over the years. Somebody figured out a long time ago that feeding fish target the eye and the red line from a flaring gill on baitfish. It does work.

I used to use red nail polish on plugs way back when and am a huge fan of pink/red heads on jigs ....
stressed out fish have a tendency to be red to pink on the lower gill area .
and imitations of bait that looks stressed out get bit
