I use testers model paint. I let first coat dry overnight then put on second coat, let dry. Then hang in oven and cook at 175 for about 30 minutes.

    X2 on the model paint.

I've tried the vinyl and just hate having to thin it out all the time.

I cant say I have a paint preference, but I use
a nail head for the size eye that I want. Dip it
and dot the jig,or bait. LDS
