    Default Stocking up

With all the high water I have had a lot of shop time. Been trying this bat jig out and it's a little booger to pour. I hope it fishes well. I would like a little bigger hook on the 1/8 and 1/16 oz though. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1433280420.169758.jpg

This is part of the area where I usually launch my boat.

Looking at the mold it looks like you could actually go up a few sizes on the hook. I would almost gurantee that a #2 will fit in the mold. You may also be able to play a little bit and get either the 28 degree or the 30 degree hooks into it. If you need me to, I can look around here and see if I have any one or two off hooks that I can send you to try out in it.

BTW The finished product looks awesome buddy. Great job on them.

Just stumbled across this thread as I don't venture much into the lead thread. 1st off you did a banged up job on those pink heads. It is a tough one to pour. Pretty sure you have to modify the mold to accept size 2 hooks in it. I will confirm this soon.

Thanks Travis you have some on the way. They are a pain to pour. Waiting to fish and find out if they are worth the effort

Awesome work my friend.....looks like you might have a hard time finding a place to launch but if you can get to it i like the looks of that big oak on the south end of the 18th green lol.

Are you painting the eyes? If so, what are you using and what technique?

    Thanks
