What hook do you want?

Sometimes hooks are tough to find on there - you can always email them and ask.

But X2 - what hook are you looking for??

I am looking for a black chrome number 2 straight Aberdeen or non jig hook to tie my teasers on. If not jig hook non sickle would be okay too. I don't like the sickles as the minnows won't stay on that well due to the short barb.

JW, I may have missed them somewhere but I just don't remember seeing a straight Aberdeen in black chrome. You could email Capnhooks and ask if they could get them for you. They have another company that is wholesale only that supplies them. I was told that they could sometimes get you hooks they did not normally stock.

What about in a jig hook cray. Any recommendations

X2 on no black chrome straight hooks. You could check out #2 EC 570 black platinum jig hooks, some of the guys here and other boards have used them

You could try Mustad 3399 straight shank fly hooks in #2, they won't be black chrome but the fly hooks seem to last longer than the jig hooks

I looked at my Lil Nasty black chrome jig hooks. They don't seem to have much more if any barb than the Matzuo hooks. I personally don't like using a jig hook for teasers because have seen several break right in the bend that is normally in jig head. I know a lot of guys tie on them but be my luck biggest fish of my life or tourney winner would break. Plus seems to me they have more tendency to tangle when used on top dropper of two way rig.
