Your right. People who don't pour them don't realize the amount of work it takes to make one. Got those looking good. Just need the weather to get right and them going to put a bunch of fish in the freezer.
First time pouring these up. Mold pours very clean. I'm sure I will get faster as I continue to pour this style.

They look good but seeing the paint on the swivels I'd check both ends of the swivel to make sure they spin easily - a little paint can gum up the swivel. Once you get used to pouring them they pour a lot faster.
I have looked into it. It is a substantial investment.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
I twisted each swivel to make sure they all were free on both ends. Any special way to keep the paint off the swivels when I dip them?
Very good looking set of jigs. I use heat shrink to cover the swivel, some uses tinfoil and others dip the swivel into water right before dipping the head in the paint.

I know what you mean! I poured some 1/64th and 1/80th jigs Sunday, one of each per pour. Seemed like I was working forever and got a handful of jigs!
For my swivel heads I use a brush with the vinyl paint instead of dipping. One coat of white then maybe 2 coats of color. 2 coats of color will be another color.
Example, if using orange, the one with white will be bright. The one without white will be Candy Corn.
I wrap mine with tin foil - that way they're always ready when I decide to paint. If you use the tin foil method make sure to take it off before you cure the heads
It really gets expensive when you like one more fish having your limit and you loose your last homemade jig. Then you promise your self you will make more. Then your neighbor comes over says what you got their. You show him the fish you caught on them. You order 1000 hooks, swivels, split rings, blades, O yes and now you need more lead. Now your neighbor shows his son: You need more stuff.Your wife runs you out of the Garage into your shop. You need more stuffWelcome to the fun.
