I used to really enjoy pouring my own jigs til my arthritis in my hands got so bad I could hold the ladle steady. yes it can get expensive.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

As long as you're not making them for all your friends once you get past the 1000 crance swivels, 1000 split rings (I prefer them) and depending on hooks you have enough to make yourself a 1000 jig heads. Yeah paint costs get added in there too but look at the cost of buying a 1000!!!

Mold depending on where you get it $30-45 dollars (Pony Head -collared with barb) (horsehead no collar). Had mine for a long time so I only consider the parts
1000 #12 Crane Swivels $33

1000 #4 Black Nickle sickles $26.25
2 oz's powder paint- just one color $5.00
Using mold cost at $35 + parts/paint $114.25 + shipping
about $.12 a jig to get started
