Just don't think most of them are Roadrunners as there is only one Roadrunner and it's a design Blakemore owns. Seems the crappie spinners is the correct thing to call them.

None are roadrunner's!!cannot buy a roadrunner head in our bait shops cannot keep them stocked especially the 1/16 oz!!! those are walleye heads, bait keeper modified head and pony/horsehead modified to hold keeper!! On our home lake Greers ferry if your not fishing a roadrunner you are not catching fish(greers ferry, norfork) lakes are deep and clear not many trees to tie up to and drop a minnow!!

Yes Roadrunners are my pick for spring fishing, but I only use 1/32 Oz. I have 3 sizes of them, 1/32, 1/16 and 1/8 all with Blakemore imprinted blades. I even have some 1/16 Marabou2 heads that have the keeper and come with an imprinted Brass Willow blade which is my favorite blade and they didn't use to have these. Have been doing this for almost 9 years now with them.

The 1/16 oz red/chart marabou Roadrunner cannot keep on the shelf!! Out sells every color in our bait shop!! Does not matter the price!! When they get them in they are gone!! Until next spring.Jan/Feb!! 2nd best color is red/white 1/16 oz marabou roadrunner. Next is the Charlie Brewer crappie slider 1/16 oz in the same color Red/chart!! Like 22 shells they go fast in our area!!
