Rosys clear 200 is a high gloss clear powder paint Search results for: '200% glass clear' | Rosey's Powder Coating and is not a ProTec product

ProTec does make clear but I like the Rosy's or Orbit clear better and it works just as well. I've mixed a few custom colors and have had no problems mixing different brands of powder together.

What folks are telling you is colors seem to flow better in the fluid bed with some clear, and if later you get to adding glitter you're going to need it anyway, and by the lb. is cheaper I haven't seen Rosy's tyers pack of powder on the site, but you could call them and ask about it. I believe it was 8-10 colors for $35-$40.

I just add a little to lighter colors at a time. I bought the 1 lb pack because everywhere you go on the internet for painting jigs almost everyone adds clear to help with flow problems. I personally found the darker the powder the more clear i need to add but still get a great covering. Dave
