SInce these are only holding a blade on and do not need to support the weight of the fish could you just use butt rings or jump rings? They are much easier to put on than the split rings.

If you have any bead merchants near you, you may want to try them for the split rings. Tulsa has a really nice bead store with a good assortment, plus the regular Michael's and Hobby Lobby.

I have found the cheapest place to get the Do-it split rings is Zeiners.com. They have a great price on swivels and stainless steel eyes also.

Do you just close the butt ring with a pair of needle nose pliers? I had never heard of them but googled them and see that Rosco makes them. This might be a good alternative.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. Don't hesitate to make other suggestions.

Yes they come open already so all you do is place your swivel and your blade in and squeeze it shut with pliers. I don't use them for attaching hooks but really they would probably hold small panfish fine.
