Have you tried sickle hooks? It might be something to think about instead of the double barb.

Feelay,
I sent you a PM. I have custom molds with double barbs. I have been using double barb jig heads for a few years and you can't get the plastic tubes off of them. I fish with the same tube all day long. They also work great on some curly tails. I have round head 1/32,1/16,3/32,1/8,3/16,1/4 and 3/8's molds. I also have a 3/32 pill head double barb mold. The pic are some I am making for door prizes for the Oct. 6 Ky. Lake Crappie.com Shindig.

Ok, I was thinking pill as in capsule( kinda like what I posted). Those are flattened round heads, not the same. I'll definitely get some round head ones from ya. I'll pm ya later.
