    Default 3/16 egg head mold?

I'm looking for a 3/16 egg head jig mold. Does anyone know where to find one?

I'll do a little checking around in my catalogs. If we can get one I'll pour and paint you some "without" paint in the eyes!

do-it carries an egg head mold but has a ring and barb collar and no 3/16th. You might be looking at a custom mold or try and make a plaster one.

I have a 3/16 round head straight collar with a barb I use for fishing deep drops. I use glow heads and they work.

Jeff, I can get 3/16 round heads with a good barb and any size hook. I can also paint them any color you want. It's not the Crappie Pro style of head but I'll bet they will work just fine. I'm assuming that you want them to use with your Beavertails? I'll make up some with a few different hook sizes and try them out on my Beavertails. When I like what I've got I'll send you and your Dad some.

    Later,
    Dave

Hey thanks Dave! Not very many people use a 3/16 jig, but I sure like em.

How deep you fish? With light 8lb test only time I find the need for heavier than 1/8 is on Dardanelle cause we fish as deep as 25 to 40'. Heavier jigs can be a plus keeping in contact to feel the bite. IMO

Well, it's not so much the depth, but the fact that the stinkin wind blows all the time.
