I'm new to this forum and relatively new to painting jigs.. I was wondering if someone would explain to me what a fluid bed is and how it's used??
Thanks Stump Hunter. I actually found them at our local tackle shop finally...They've got 100 different molds and I just kept looking over them.

I'll try to give you the basic's. Mine are made from a 1 3/4 in PVC coupling. Hole drilled in side toward bottom with a shutoff valve from aquarium store. It is glued to a small piece of board to hold it steady and seal bottom. It is powered by a small aquarium pump. Cup is made from 1 3/4 in heavy wall PVC about 2 in long. It has a piece of special filter material lied into the bottom. Insert it into coupling add a table spoon or so of powder paint. Turn on pump then slowly open valve, paint may blow out a little at first but it will start to roll and rise up in cup. Makes it look liquid and really thins it out. Just heat jig and dip. Coats jig without getting to much paint on jig. Lots of videos on YouTube on building and use.
