I wont make it in the morning but 3 or 4 of my ice crew will be there. Most of us did pretty good today. Joe, from Ohio, got quite a few big crappies, as did Dave and his son Luke. They kept close to a dozen slabs over 10"s. I got 28 keepers with 9 crappies at 10 and a couple over. The rest were gills and perch. Dragging my sled that far took a lot out of me, so i'm taking sunday off to relax and get ready for my work week. If the ice holds up i'll be there next friday. If you go sunday, have fun, introduce your self to the crew and they'll put you on some fish. Tell them i told you about this spot.

Friday afternoon they hit minnows best. 7' deep under a bobber. Saturday we had to jig em up with maggots. Most were caught under a bobber. we just jiggled the bobber a few seconds then let it sit for a minute then repeat. Seems like everybody was using different colors so i cant give you one specific jig color. Hope you have a good day out there. Smitty
