Thread: Sayers Lake- Bald Eagle State Park update

Just got back into this forum after having been absent for a couple of years. Sayers Lake is cold enough now that a good cold snap is going to start forming ice. Looks like the long term forecast is for some cold in mid-January. Here's hoping it pans out. Until then, I'm doing OK bank fishing. And BTW- overall crappie sizes at Sayers have REALLY improved since they changed the creel limit definition.

Welcome back! Good to hear the new regulations are working better. It was difficult to catch a legal size fish with the old regulations.
They must have the lake drawn down to winter water levels at this point.
