Got up at 4:30 with no plans for the day so I decided to head up to Jamestown area on Pymatuning lake. I’ve only fished there once this season before today. I had heard the perch bite was pretty good there this year and I was very pleased with my three hour results for today. Fished a hump that topped off at 9ft and they were there, along with a few nice crappies and numerous bluegills of various sizes. No live bait. Just itty bits from Bobby Garland tipped with nibbles fished right on the bottom. No livescope either. Could see them stacked up on 2D sonar. Off the lake just as it started getting hot 🥵.
