I got my first PA. hunting license in 1947.
And ive had one every year since, except for the last 2 years.
Ive never been checked in the field by a warden.
They have checked the deer hanging at our camp a few times for proper taging, but only a few times during my lifetime hunting.
There have been 3 Elk killed on our property to date, and they have always come by to check on those, as the law requires the kill area to be marked.
None of our members have ever applied for an Elk tag, nor have any ever purchased a Doe tag.
And ive never seen a warden or deputy (on duty) without a uniform.
The last Cameron county warden lived about 2 miles down the road from our camp, and he still does since he retired.
