What’s the water temperature? Can’t believe you guys catch them that shallow right now. Is this a feeder creek or something?

Temp is 38.9*. Fish are following the shad into bays on this lake. With the lake down 9’ , those brushpiles that were in 17’ are now in 8’ and the black crappies are still holding on them. Jigs and bobber are getting the job done much better than minnows are. But now it’s time to put the boat away for me. Gonna be a couple weeks or more before we get decent ice to walk on. Was great getting that extra month of fishing in.

With Covid running rampant in this country, I’m not going anywhere. Just going to try to enjoy fishing in my local area.

Shenango is a Corp lake, so the levels can change a lot, depending on how much water they need for locks to operate.

Will also add, that sometimes Chauinc posts his catches, on the Shenango monthly Lake info page. So if you don't look there, you might miss some posts.
