Chaunc did you do any good. My wife and I fished the stumps on the weekend of the 14-16 and did really good. We caught a lot of fish in the 12-14 size and most were females with eggs. I came back up this past Tues. with brother in law and stayed till Sat and we only caught a couple each day. Our best day was 10. Most of those were spawned out males and some of the females had real watery like eggs. The water temp was 67 on most of the area we fished . Another observation was, we found the blue gills on their beds These are some of the ones my wife and I caughtName: crappies.jpg

Some thing to add to my post, did any one who has been to pymy lately notice how clear it is . We went out of maning launch and you could see rocks on the bottom at 7 feet. I have only been coming up for the last ten years but don't recall it ever being that way. Most of the time it seemed that there was only about 2 foot visibility before your lure disappeared

Was there this morning bluegill fishing. That water is clear. Could see the fish fanning their beds in 5 ft. Had a productive day. Kept 25.

Nice looking fish there. Do you find a lot of pumpkinseeds up that way? Thanks.
