Thread: Shenango Lake Info

This was posted with the lake info I put up yesterday. But thought to post it here also, in case some don't read those posts.

Painting the water safety messages on the public docks today. The day-use restrooms and public docks will be ready April 1.

The ramps on the lake are still usable for most fishing boats under twenty ft. Shallow drafting boats work best as the lake is down over seven feet and shoreline rocks will scrape boat bottoms and damage props if not careful. I fished the Rec area Saturday with a buddy and had a productive day. Caught over eighty fish between us in five hours. Kept twenty five crappies and two perch. Was cold with a stiff northwest wind most of the morning. Jig and bobber did the job.
