Hit the lake 2 pm and fished till 7 pm. I wanted to experiment with some long line trolling jigs but it was just too windy. Caught many crappies mostly too small. Scattered through 5 hours we probably caught 50 crappie and a dozen bluegills. Might have been 8 keepers mixed in with a pile of 8" and less crappie. Crappies were moving along the creek channel north of the causeway 8-9' deep. Vertical jigging 1/32 oz. hand ties gold body, gold head, yellow tail with gold flash was the best producer. White body with yellow tail and gold flash did ok as did gray head, gray chenille, gray tail with a little flash. Of course tipped with a nibble. I'll get some pics posted tomorrow as I left my camera in the boat.
