Where’s it located?
Does anyone know if Trolling motors are permitted on Long Pine Run Reservoir? I've checked online everywhere I can think of, including the Fish and Boat Comm, and cannot find a definitive answer. I've never been there but I've heard it's beautiful.

Magic1946, Welcome to crappie.com, and the Pa board. Is there a number, anywhere, in looking for info? All I can find out, is that it's 39 acres. Can't find a phone number anywhere for it. Most of the lake is only 4 ft, or less, so hopefully you have a fish finder. Also there is a channel in it some where. Take the trolling motor with you, and find out when you get there. I do know that the state does have some lakes that are trolling motors only. The state does take fish surveys there, and apparently there are a lot of channel cats. Wish I could help you more. But this lake is owned be an authority, maybe they produce electricity off of it?
I have been there a few times but can not answer the motor question. However there is a bulletin board in the parking lot where the boat - canoe launch is. It is up in the mountains and very pretty. Not sure the fishing is all that great. I know of a couple people who fished it and no one even had great stories about it. I do not think it gets any type of fish stockings.????

I was thinking of headed there Sunday I think it does allow electric only.

Thanks, let me know for sure if you would. Are you using a kayak or boat?

It’s pretty but water quality isn’t that great for fish. It’s basically like laurel lake without the trout stocking. Some tiny yellow perch there and various small sunfish and I think pickerel
