I am sure many of us are felling a little tired of looking at the same four walls and only getting out as needed or some of us lucky ones can do a little fishing close to home. Her is a question to perhaps brighten you day.
Where do you want to fish at this year. Perhaps a weekend trip or even a long day on a distant waters. I am always looking for new water and it is really nice when some one can guide me - us onto a new hole to fish.
I can start it. I like to fish for shad and have fished for them in a hand full of streams and rivers. One of the most dependable April waters is behind Conowingo dam in Md. I use 1/8 ounce shad darts with 6 or 8 lb. line on my spinning rod. Or even 1/32 ounce darts on my fly rod. Red and white are my go to colors but sometimes other colors work great. I usually catch most of them on the swing.
