    Default Hey Chaunc

I saw on another post you are using one of these I believe. When I did a lot of trout fishing I swore by underspins because I felt they handled mono line twist much better than open faced reels. On small stream many times you are reeling in slack line and the underspins kept those associated problems under control to some extent. I've fish many of these type reels from Zebco 44, Abu Fastcast, Zebco Omega's, Diawa's and they all share the same drawback. That is a poor drag system. How's the drag on your Pflueger? Thanks!!

Only been out with it once. The drag is great. The reel is top quality. It’s a little heavy because it’s made to last. None of the other under spins I’ve had comes close to this in quality. Give one a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Was hoping to give a report on this reel today but not happening today. Fished Linesville yesterday. 5 hours, not a single bite. So i didn't get the chance to feel a fish on it. Hopefully next time goes better.

I've got 2 of them on order. Wife loves those underspins so I figured be a good 41st anniversary gift. She'll like it better than the snow shovel I got her for Christmas. Supposed to be here Thursday. Figuring on loading them with 6#mono. Take Care.
