was at pymy hunting this morning lake is frozen over, dont know how thick , just seen as we drove by, cant be much but will probably melt by end of coming week
I'm jealous, next few days of warmer weather will melt the ice in western pa. Let us know how they are biting.

Had a few hours on the ice. Marked a fair number of fish, but very sluggish biting. We caught some bluegill and a perch, and got this pickerel on a tip-up (returned to the water). Looking forward to January.
BTW- a guy about 50 yards from us caught three nice black crappie, but again the bite was sluggish.

I went across the causeway at Pmy yesterday, the lake was still froze over as far as you could see, both north and south. I don't know thick it was, but it can't last in this weather
