Thread: Well We Tried

Conneaut Lake traffic is slowing down so we tried. Caught a few jumbo gills but the schools were moving faster than we could keep up. Fished from the edge of the weeds out to 25'. Water temp 66* on the surface. Got lots of the mediums. When we hit the nice 8 to 9" fish I tried my best with the DI to stay on them but no luck. Kept zero. Going to give them till next week to settle in. It was a nice day. Wifey shot the PA elk with her Canon!
