Fished this morning for 3 hours caught 17 crappies, one cat, and lost something really big, never could see what it was. What ever it was it made 4 good runs than broke my line. All the fish were down 4 ' in 9 fow. Very strong current running through the lake. The wind was blowing 10-16 mph from southwest. Was fishing a bar that extends out in the lake. Wind was blowing in towards the bar. Fish were stacked up one side of it. You would have thought that by throwing out and letting the wind would carry the float into the bar would be the way to go. Nope the current was so strong that I had to cast to the windward side of the bar and let the current carry the bobber over the bar against the wind.
