Do they have cabins there or is this just sites for camping? Was hoping to eventually expand out and would eventually like to try Shenango. I don’t mind tent camping but if I did a 3 day stay I might want a cabin.
We are going 100% Reservable!
All campsites in the Shenango Recreation Area Campground are now reserved in advance or booked the same day, as vacancies are available. This includes sites that were previously "walk-in." Payments are no longer accepted at the booth. If a visitor arrives at the campground without an advance reservation, information posted at the booth explains how to make a same day reservation. The campground will be open from May 17-September 8.
Along with same-day reservations, there is no longer a minimum stay requirement nor a 3-day in advance booking window.
Campsite and picnic shelter reservations can be made at www.recreation.gov, or by calling 1-877-444-6777.
If you have any questions about the new process, please call the recreation.gov customer service line or the Shenango River Lake Ranger Station at 724-646-1124.

There are no cabins. They do have some tents, put up on wooden decks, that you can rent, and at least one barn building, to camp in. At one time, they also included cooking utensils, with the site, but don't know if they still do that. Call them, and ask if they still do. that is the best way, to find out. I would call the 724-646-1124 number, as that is the local number, and they would give the right info. Also use the links above, to check things out.
Nwpacrappie LIKED above postchaunc thanked you for this post
The neighbors are down camping. Asked them about the barn shed or the tents, said there arn't any. So you will need to bring a tent.
