Thread: Pymy Slabs

Just curious - do you have an idea of what the water temp was yesterday. water temps here in Central PA dropped 8-10 degrees between the 4-30 and 5-7 Fish were nowhere to be found shallow over the weekend. Had an active yet frustrating weekend trying to find them from the bank - caught 3, weather was crappy though.

It was 54 degrees this morning at Pymie.

Back at it today. Put 19 keepers in the livewell, all over 11". Fished basically the same area and same style as last time out. B G baby shads and southern pro jigs put them in the boat this time.

I doubt if they've even spawned yet with that cool of a water temp.

I fished the past Friday, on the north end . I caught a few, 11 to 13 inch ones at 10 ft. dragging a minnow on the bottom.I couldn't anything but small perch in shallow The water temp on the surface was 56 degrees I tried at the stumps and couldn't get anything

Put these in the box Tuesday while fishing with my brother. That's all I wanted to clean. He kept fifty.
