Are you fishing the drops from shallow water to deeper water in the creek channel on large bends. Holes where current under cuts the bank.

I fish it all year long. The majority of the fish are in the 7.5"-10" range. The last study I looked at was something lilke 10% or less of the population was over 12 inches. Are you fishing from the bank or boat? The bridge is always a hot spot but I trolled all around the bridge on Friday and didn't mark a single fish on the sonar. That can change in a 24 hour period, but I wouldn't look for large numbers there until water levels come up another 3 to 5 feet. Then that will be a good spot as they travel up through to get to some of the spawning areas. Also, the bank drop offs there are not in the depth range at the moment that they like at this time of year. As someone stated, much of the cover for them is still above water or very shallow. I did a little exploring and marked several large schools in the 8-12 foot range with the highest concentrations right around 10 feet down before I left on Friday.

If you can, would you post a few pics of fish and this lake? I'm interested in making a few trips to new lakes in PA that I haven't fished yet.

Have you ever tried Raystown Lake? It is awesome! If you haven't and are interested I can point you in the right direction!! It is actually closer than Sayers, it is huge, with lots of protected coves and backwaters.

Unfortunately like every where else right about now, mid April to mid May. Can find some deeper earlier and into early June. Best time to fish there is spring until Memorial Day and then after Labor Day and during the week. On weekends and in the summer it is a zoo!!!
