Hey stumpjumper, whats your buddy doing at shenango?
hi chaunc; happy new year!! just got off the phone with jeff, he has been busy hunting and was wondering on the ice conditions. he said with all the rain and the slushy snow run off on the bottom of the ice and rain/slush on the top, the ice would decay quicker. i see more open water when i went over the causeway. we are really getting the rain at this time and i think it will hurt the ice. spoke to a guy up at causeway bait on mosquito and he said the 5" of ice tht they had was weak and unsafe. i think the water temp is still cold enough if we would get 2-4 day of cold temps 20 or below you guys would be fishing again. i'm hoping for a mild winter and a jump start to get my lund in the water.
