Saw that same migration while shore fishing below 846 Smitty. It was a continuous stream of them playing follow the leader. I caught one on my 4.5' ultralight. OH what a fight. I put it back in line to join its buddies. I dream of seeing a crappie migration like that. Just a dream.

Went to Pymatuning (south end) this morning and did Ok on crappies but wasn't fishing for them. Was fishing the edges of the drop offs for eyes and caught at least 15 keeper crappies. Didn't bring any home. The gills have really turned on also. They were on every hump that I fished. You know they are hungry when they engulf a 3 inch curly tail and 1/8 jig. They were moving around in large schools. If a person wanted to and down sized the bait they cold have brought home a hundred and you could have been done in a couple of hours.
