Zeke, that is an easy decision for me, the lure would be a white slider grub on a 1/32oz jighead. That set up will usually catch something on any given day.
What if you were chosen for the next Survivor Series and had to live off the crappie you caught here in PA. You could take your fishing pole and one lure. Which lure would you take? (Remember you have to live on what you catch).
BTW: My choice would be a pearl stinger.

I have to agree with Bob. I've caught a lot of different fish using a white grub body.
1/2 oz brown foxy jig.
A small pink mini foo 1/64 or 1/32 tipped w/small fathead has kept me fat and happy!!
May choice would be a 1/16 oz. jig with a black and chart. slider grub tipped with a crappie nibblet and a pocket full of M-80's on a bad day.
chaunc - 1/2 oz? Why would you choose that weight?
icenut - would you use the mini-foo anytime of year or mainly thru the ice?
Because everything i caught with it would feed me for a week :D I wondered when someone would question that.:p
Really i'd use 1/16 plain head with a chartreuse body.
Nice one, chanuc. I guess I had to be the one to bite. I wonder how many guys, who viewed this thread, went out today looking for 1/2 oz brown foxee jigs?
Nice question. 1/32 white jig head with a panfish assassin.
