that 1/2 would work for sight fishing though.a good sidearm cast and BONK!!!knock 'em in the noggin.
i'm with you on the chart jig.day in and day out,that color will catch fish of any species.

at reelfoot last week,it couldn't hold a candle to a blue/white southern pro minnow tube

Misfit, i'm heading down to Ky lake next weekend and staying a week there. I checked your posts on the OTHER board and see you had a good time. I'll post some pics when i get back. Zig called it exactly right - one snag and we'd all be living on algae!
I'd try the bass assassin 2 inch curly tail pearl/black - it seems to accidently catch small mouth on occation too.
