    Smile Moving to Western PA

Hi my name is Art Thompson,

I will be moving to Western PA (From KS) in a couple of weeks and love to fish. I will be working out of the Pitt airport as a bomb tech. I would love to meet some fellow fishermen back there and do some fishing. I have a Ranger VS 681 deep V multi-species boat with a 115 hp motor. I quess there are not too many lakes back there that will allow my boat so I guess another boat is going to be in the future. (As long as momma agrees!) I am also looking forward to doing some ice fishing, I have never had that chance before. Hope to hear from some PA fishermen and hopefully joining a crappie club. Heck maybe even catch a pike or musky never caught one of them!

Oh yea not a hunting page but I am an avid hunter too, mostly deer and birds guess I have to sell my GSP not too many birds back there. My best buck out here so far is 177 1/8 boone and crocket, what are the deer like back there?

I'm from S.E. PA, but I wouldn't be too hasty about looking for a new boat. there's lots of water out that way your boat would be great for!

There are places for your boat, one being the 3 rivers, that join at Pittsburgh. If you make an hour or so trip, Shenango Lake is unlimited. Slabhunter can tell you where else around Pittsburgh area. And if I may say,"Your not in Kansas anymore."

Well I should be back there in about a week or less. Can't wait to get there Kansas sucks. I actually grew up in PA but left for the military right after I graduated from Slippery Rock in 1986 and have not been back since. The one thin I won't miss if the WIND and calm day here is 20 mhp winds!!!
