Nice pics. Chaunce. These are a couple to help you with your "fix" Basically Bluegill. lol 1st is my grandson Brandon, then the wife and then I.
I don't get on any "bigguns" ole Mike
Beautiful fish Mike. Let me know when the time is right and i may make a trip over your way.:D
Heaven forbid I left out my other grandson Jonathon. I also left out the "truth" shot of the ones like I normally catch. lol
Chaunc- That would be a good time for sure! Have you got a float tube? I fish without it, but only on RARE occasions. I love new ways to get after these scrappers, and the spoon sounds good. ole Mike
Illinoisgiller,
Those are some great pics. We're having a late autumn here in Texas. I'm taking two days off and going panfishing. Tomorrow will be a high 74 & Wednesday 77. I'll fish Fairfield L. tomorrow and the Colorado R. Wednesday.
BTW I have family in Illinois and Indiana, are you open for some panfishing summer 09?

Nice gills and shellcrackers guys!
Nice pictures too. Good to see the younger generation getting in on the act.
Here's a couple of pics that I'm not sure if I've posted yet or not.
As usual, the pictures don't do the fish justice. (or us either for that matter)
My son with a couple of good crackers.
13" and 12"
Me, with a couple of better ones.
14" and 13 1/2"
Do gooder since April 26, 2009!
ShellQuacker & Son, Those crackers are absolute hawgs. I think my biggest cracker was 1 1/4 lb and I thought I had a mule on the line. :D My snowy winter day just got warmer looking at those fine fish. Thanks ,ole Mike
BasicallyBluegill, We'll have a talk closer to spring.
Nice mess of fish there Louie! That crappie looks huge by our local standards. ole Mike
